Designing a Brand Identity and Introducing a New Brand to the Energy Drink Market

Challenge

In part of the research conducted in the energy drink market, it was found that the products available in this market are very similar to each other. The brands available in the market either did not have a specific message or were trying to establish their identity by presenting a message about how energy drinks save you from the current situation.

Experience gained

In developing this brand’s strategy, a transformative identity was designed to create differentiation. Accordingly, this new brand in the energy drink market was named “Life Star” to represent its identity, personality, and slogan.

Life Star is a brand that, along with the stars (both stars on earth and stars in the sky), affects people’s lives and changes the mood and fortune of its audience.

Brand Visual Identity

The “Life Star” logo is inspired by its name, and the star symbol can be seen as the main symbol of the logo in all designs, patterns, and illustrations.

In line with the designed strategy and personality of Life Star, purple was chosen as the main color of the brand to evoke the magical feeling of the night sky.

In the design of the packaging of Life Star beverage cans, the personality of this brand, which is based on the concept of “transformation”, was used, so increasing energy in life and eliminating drowsiness was considered.

Also, this brand refers to the change of two concepts of human condition in the moment and human fortune in the future in its packaging. The combination of stars and constellation symbols and the glow and rise of the color purple promotes these two concepts. Accordingly, a design of the night sky in the mountains and constellations was illustrated.
